ANHEUSER BUSCH AMERICAN ORIGINALS FAUST BEER BURNING MAN beer tap handle. U. S. A
ANHEUSER BUSCH AMERICAN ORIGINALS FAUST BEER FLAMING MAN LAGER SPECIALTY draft beer tap handle. Faust Lager was first brewed back in 1884 by Adolphus Busch for his friend Tony Faust’s St. Louis Oyster House and Restaurant. Now re-released in 1995 as part of the Anheuser Busch American Originals series. A German style pilsner. Brewed from handwritten ingredients. Unhappy with his life he made a pact with the devil. Sacrificing spiritual values for power and material gain. Tap is now almost 30 years old. It has been part of a large Anheuser Busch Budweiser collection for many years now. Remastered without lower section to fit display. Excellent condition and shows almost no wear at at all. A black paint mark on the raised presumably an error from the artist. A representation of the power of good and evil. He pleades with him one last time and offers a pitcher of Faust Beer but the devil denies him. So he quickly chugs his beer and is immediately engulfed in flames and sucked through earths crust and straight to Hell. Great to look at from any angle. Others in the series were Black & Tan, Muenchener and American Hop Lager. There were a few others did not make the cut. Brewed from original hand-written recipes. Mephistopheles is mentioned in the Police song’Wrapped Around My Finger. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
