CASTLEMAINE KOALA HANGING ON A BOOMERANG draft beer tap handle. AUSTRALIA
CASTLEMAINE’S XXXX KOALA ON A BOOMERANG IN THE OUTBACK draft beer tap handle. New South Wales, in Milton Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Merging with Toowoomba’s Perkins in 1928 forming Castlemaine Perkin’s Ltd. Acquired by Lion in 1992. Now owned by Kirin Japan since 2009. In 1878 XXX was brewed. The brands XXXX was first brewed in 1924 and labeled such as a throwback to the way beer was graded in wooden kegs with 4 XXXX’s being the best sparkling ale. Mildly sweet with earthy and floral notes. I have seen this several times in the past few decades. Tap is listed as used. It shows obvious signs of use on the boomerang where you can see some of the yellow paint has flaked off in several locations. It has been thrown into the Outback many times. My furry friend scurried to the top unscathed and kept himself safe from the fires and danger below. He appears undamaged and looks very clean. One of the fireman even gave him a new pair of Ray Bans. Overall still looks great. Stands a hair over. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. I try to take great photos and write accurate descriptions so you can judge for yourself. Please look carefully at all 20 photos as they are the best part of the description. This is the actual item you will receive. If the item has noticeable flaws, it will be mentioned in description. I usually respond quite fast. USA buyers only please. Always leave great feedback or contact me first. I will do everything I can to make things right.
