BOSTON BEER COMPANY SAM ADAMS GRUMPY MONK BELGIAN IPA draft beer tap handle. Jim Koch was the pioneer of the craft beer industry back in the early 1980’s and stepped up big using his great grandfather’s century old recipe to create Boston lager. 25 years ago, Sam Adams was the most popular craft beer in America, and they helped kick off the great American craft brew phase. It was only available in a very few select markets. Grumpy Monk Belgian Style IPA. Spicy Belgian yeast and caramel malts mixed with floral and citrus hops. Pours orange with a thick head. Tap is new but has been stored for a long time and now shows some very small marks. Not a deal breaker. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. The monk appears as a sculpture from the bust up. The center base is like a golden podium with a 2×4 wood grain handle. Inscribed and outlined with Grumpy Monk on front and back and stamped with the Sam Adams logo below. He is grumpy, not angry. His stein is empty, and he is bugging out! Somebody get him another beer, Quick! Great looking comical handle. Over 10 years old. Stands just over 9 inches tall. Tap has been turned and rotated so that all sides are pictured. This is the actual item you will receive. Stand is not included in sale. If item has any notable flaws, it will be listed in the description.
