OLYMPIA BREWING DARK BEER draft beer tap handle. Originally founded in 1896 by Friederich Schmidt as the Capitol brewing Company. In 1902 it was named Olympia. It’s The Water! Miller was contracted recently by Pabst to brew this beer in California… Tap was most likely used a long time ago. Not sure what kind of market they had for this short-lived beer. It is from the 50 or 60’s making it over 60 years old. It remains in excellent condition with a few very minor imperfections. No chips or cracks in the ceramic barrel but the wooden dowel shows some scratches and one scratch on brass ferrule. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Wooden upper with ceramic barrel on a big brass ferrule. The tap can be taken apart and barrels interchanged. I have seen 5 different designs of barrels. Tap is a vintage collector’s piece now. Rare Dark beer version. Stands 12 inches tall. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. I try to take great photos and write accurate descriptions so you can judge for yourself. Please look carefully at the photos, this is the actual item you will receive. If the item has noticeable flaws, it will be mentioned in description. I usually respond quite fast. Always leave great feedback or contact me first. I will do everything I can to make things right.
