BOULDER BEER COMPANY AND THE PUB IN THE WILDERNWESS SINGLETRACK COPPER ALE MOUNTAIN BIKER draft beer tap handle. Colorado’s first craft brewery. (Now there are over 200 in Colorado alone). Pioneer craft brewers starting with a one barrel brewing system and increasing to a 50 barrel operation including a packaging line in less than five years. Later remastered and updated in early 2000’s and taking a silver and bronze awards for this beer at the World Beer Cup in 2002 and 2004. Now permanently closed as of January 2020. A few of their flagship beers were still being brewed by Sleeping Giant Brewery in Denver. Toasted rye and caramel malt. Paying homage to two-wheeled athletes and Weekend Warriors pounding the narrow trails of our backyard mountains. Tap is listed as used. It is in excellent condition but shows some scratches on the brass fitting. Upper portion is very clean and looks great. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. There is a Single Track through the Red Rocks for the mountain biker to follow. It’s a thin dirt path that starts at the base and wraps around the handle to meet up with his back tire. Wearing safety gloves and a helmet the rider appears faceless with no eyes. Riding his red Fuji Sundance Mountain bike from the 1990’s just like mine. Appears to be sculpted by hand. There is an older version that looks similar with a full bike and rider. It does not look near as nice as this one. These taps are hard to come by. Makes a great gift for the unsuspecting bicycle enthusiast. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
