RARE HAMMER AND NAIL BOWN ALE COPPER SPIKE NAIL AND CLAW HAMMER Draft beer tap handle. Owned by peter hammer and Kit Nagel (Nail in German). Shutting down abruptly in 2002 and evicted from the property due to unpaid utility bills and other issues. Clear brown ale brewed with Victory malts, Willamette and Brewers Gold hops giving off sweet notes of caramel and chocolate. Thay had quite a few different Hammer & Nail taps made. I have only seen this and one other in this style. All are quite rare. Tap is listed as used but may be new. It has been part of my personal collection for many years and admired but never had a chance to be displayed. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. A 10-inch copper coated spike nail used for large timber. Might need a bigger hammer for this job. The head appears to be hand molded as most of their other tap too. This one has the large nail being hooked by the claw part and extending through the wood handle which was sheared off clean. Nail head is an open end 3/8 threaded hole. A sticker has been placed on the handle part. Really cool and always hard to find. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured. I try to take great photos and write accurate descriptions so you can judge for yourself. Please look carefully at the photos, this is the actual item you will receive. If the item has noticeable flaws, it will be mentioned in description. I usually respond quite fast. Now boarding first-class international flights to some. Always leave great feedback or contact me first. I will do everything I can to make things right.
