PENNSYLVANIA BREWING COMPANY (PENN BREWING) PENN BREWERY draft beer tap handle. First known as the Allegheny Brewpub before changing the name in 1994. Pittsburg’s oldest brewery located at the site where several breweries once stood. Using lagering caves dug almost a century ago. Started out making classic lagers and German style beers adhering to the strict quality standards of the 16th century Bavarian Reinheitsgebot Purity Laws. Wheat beer brewed in the traditional Southern German style. Top fermented, cask conditioned. Cloudy orange with notes of bread, banana and a subtle hint of cloves. Tap is listed as used. Most of the imperfections are from being hand painted. A few minor blemishes but overall excellent condition. Please view all photos as they are the best part of the description. Last few pictures show imperfections close-up. Note that all of the others listed at this time are broken. This is a portion of the front center of the brewery. Done in red brick dating back several decades. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
