Vintage BANNER, Chicago, IL Brass & Wood Murphy’s Irish Stout Extra Smooth BAR Mount Beer Tap & Handle. Stands 27 1/2 on wood base. Brass tube alone is 14.5″ long & 4″ wide. Entire tap with handle is 16 long. Wood base is 13″ long & 7″ wide. Base anchors to a table or bar with the 2 attached clamps. The hose has to be connected to the beer source/keg. Has 2 recessed cup spots on the wood base to hold glasses. Has a small brass plaque on the wood base that reads “BANNER EQUIPMENT CO CHICAGO, ILLINOIS”. Tap reads “EXTRA SMOOTH Murphy’s Irish Stout Murphy Brewery Ireland”. Front of the brass tube says “MURPHY’S IRISH STOUT” all in gold. The top of the brass tube has “BANNER CHICAGO” molded on it. This tap was probably installed at a commercial bar. Extremely heavy (weighs about 15 pounds) and very large. Wood base has some light wear/scratches. Hose included, looks like it needs a washer.
