HOOK AND LADDER LIGHTER ALE GIANT FLAME draft beer tap handle. Originally founded in 1999 by a firefighter in Silver Spring, Maryland. The beer was contracted brewed in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Fire inspired tap handles and beer names like Flashpoint Pale Ale, Backdraft Brown, Ember Amber Ale and Pipe And Drum Irish Ale. Grainy with a hint of lemon. Tap is listed as used. One small chip of paint by the “H” as seen. Rest of tap is very clean and in excellent condition. Hand sculpted and painted and by Mark Supik designs, Maryland. Creating natural wood tap handles since early 1980’s. Please view all 20 photos as the are the best part of the description. A big flame named Lighter. That’s what the arson used to start this fire. Effective design like all the others. 3 different colors represent different levels of heat. Blue raised letters emitting from the flame on front and back with Hook and Ladder Fireman’s badge logo below. Appears pretty much the same on both sides. Very cool and full of bright fiery colors. Limited edition from over 15 years ago. I have seen a couple of these and none were perfect. A real fine rare piece. They made a Pipe And Drum, a fireman’s axe, a red fire hydrant and a lit matchstick as well. Tap handle has been turned and rotated so all sides are pictured.
