RIVER HORSE SPECIAL ALE draft beer tap handle. Retired a while back. Tap is listed as used. It was on display in part of a large collection I recently acquired. It was super dusty but not damaged. The other one was scored at the beer show. Really awesome piece from back when the brewery started. On the top is a huge hippo yawning as he comes up form air. The rest of the 3-sided beast is a huge wave created by the massive beast. Go big or go home! That don’t make these anymore. The River Horse is a nick name for the giant hippopotamus. He has just emerged from his underwater hideaway with a hug yawn. Heavy and well made. Not many seen this clean. Big and bold piece. Like a trophy in your collection.
